(Pet Food)Michelle and Dana are walking their dogs together.

Dana is telling Michelle about the

new diet shes been feeding her dog. Lets listen to their conversation.

(寵物飼料)蜜雪兒和唐娜正在一起蹓狗。唐娜告訴蜜雪兒關於她餵狗的新飲食。

我們來聽聽他們的對話。

Michelle: Wow, Rustys coat looks really shiny!

Did you get a new dog shampoo?

蜜雪兒：哇，Rusty的毛看起來好閃亮！妳給牠用新的狗洗髮精嗎？

Dana: No, actually. Ive been giving him a raw food diet,

and his coat has become really glossy!

唐娜：其實沒有耶。我給牠吃了一陣子的生食餐，牠的毛髮看起來真的很有光澤！

Michelle: Raw food?? Like, uncooked meat?

蜜雪兒：生食？？像是沒有煮的肉嗎？

Dana: Yes, its the healthiest and most natural diet for a dog.

Wolves dont eat from bags of kibble, do they?

唐娜：是的，這是對狗狗最健康天然的飲食。狼並不會吃飼料袋裡的狗食，對吧？

Michelle: But that sounds so gross! Wont he get sick?

蜜雪兒：但是這聽起來好噁心！牠不會生病嗎？

Dana: Not likely. Dogs can digest a lot more than we can.

Look what happens when they get into the garbage!

And Rustys never been healthier or more energetic!

唐娜：不太可能。狗狗消化的能力比我們好得多。

你瞧牠們如何在垃圾堆裡生存！Rusty也從來沒有如此健康活力。

Michelle: I guess. But isnt it expensive?

蜜雪兒：或許吧。但這樣不會很貴嗎？

Dana: No, its actually cheaper.

I buy scraps from the butcher that hes not going to use.

I pay only a quarter of what I did before!

唐娜：不會，其實比較便宜。我向肉攤買些不會使用到的多餘肉塊。

我只付了從前花費的四分之一。

Michelle: Really? I didnt know meat could be so cheap.

蜜雪兒：真的嗎？我不知道肉可以那麼便宜。

Dana: Well, its not really anything youd want to eat yourself,

so dont get any ideas.

唐娜：嗯，這不是任何你會有食慾的東西，所以你想都別想了。

Michelle: I see. Well, he certainly is more energetic,

like you said. Maybe Ill try giving Skipper a raw diet.

蜜雪兒：我了解了。嗯，如妳所說，牠真的比較有活力。

或許我會試試給Skipper生食餐。

Dana: Great! Ill introduce you to my butcher! And trust me,

Skipper will be SO happy to eat real food!

唐娜：太好了！我會向你介紹我去的那間肉攤！

相信我，Skipper會非常高興可以吃到真正的食物！
